Whole-brain healing integrates talk therapy with mindful movement, focused breathing, and a non-judgmental self-awareness. Since 1985, I have been studying and practicing the ancient healing arts of T'ai Chi, Qigong, mindfulness and meditation. I have also trained in Emotional Freedom Technique (known as EFT) which was created by Dr. Gary Craig to assist in self-regulation through a sequenced pattern of tapping, eye-movements, and specific sounds. These modalities may be explored as stand alone experiences or integrated with talk therapy. They engage all parts of the brain and provide self-regulation, increased balance and flexibility, increased resilience, wellness and confidence. Some issues responsive to these approaches include depression, cancer/illness, chronic pain, heart disease, panic and anxiety, compulsive behaviors, stress management, auto-immune issues, trauma and abuse, and ability to stay more focused and calm amidst life's challenges and the fast pace of our world.
